Osteopathy is a Primary Health Care System, complementary to other Medical practices that focuses on total body health by treating and strengthening the musculoskeletal framework, which includes the joints, muscles, tendons, ligaments and the spine whilst maintaining the body's nervous, circulatory and lymphatic system in a positive way.
Acupuncture is a traditional healing method, rooting from ancient China.
This traditional method has since evolved and Medical Acupuncture is widely used all over the world today.
This involves very fine needles to be placed on various parts of the body at different depths (depending where it is placed). This works by stimulating free ending nerves, which in turn promotes the body to release pain reducing endorphins, playing an important role in pain relief and local healing.
Naturopathy, or Naturopathic Medicine is a system of treatment and healthcare that aids the body to heal itself through nutrition, exercise and lifestyle advice.
Today Diet plays an important factor in health and preventative disease, often also treating common conditions. As a Naturopathic Osteopath, your diet can also be assessed alongside Osteopathic Treatment to aid your general well being and aid in the restoration og normal bodily function.
